How It Works
Grocery List keeps a standing list of your regular staples (milk, bread, eggs) and lets you quickly add one-off or sale items for a specific trip. When you're ready to shop, start a trip and check items off as you go. Checked one-offs and sales are automatically removed after the trip; staples stay on your list forever.
Item Types
- Staple — items you buy regularly. They live on your standing list and can be queued for any trip.
- One-off — temporary items for a specific trip. Auto-removed when checked off.
- Sale — opportunistic or sale items. Also auto-removed when checked off.
Shopping Trips
Use the Review & Start Trip button to see a ranked list of staples you might be running low on (based on your purchase history), then start your trip. During the trip, items are grouped by store section for efficient shopping.
Multiple Lists
Tap the list name at the top to create or switch between lists. Each list has its own items, sections, and trip history. Great for separate stores or household members with different needs.
Shared Lists
Open a list's settings and enable Sharing to generate an invite link. Anyone with the link can join the list and see live updates — handy for splitting the shopping with a partner or housemate. Shared lists sync in real time; changes from any member appear within a few seconds. You can revoke the invite link or disable sharing at any time from the same settings panel.
Sync
Sign in with Google to sync your lists across devices via your own Google Drive App Data folder. Your data is stored in your Drive, not on any Crunchify server. Shared lists additionally use a lightweight sync server to deliver real-time updates between members.
